An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Nafaayes (IRE), placed second, ridden by Hollie Doyle, and the winner, Elhafei (USA), ridden by Theodore Ladd.
The interference was found to be accidental as Elhafei (USA) was running freely into the bend and overreacted, throwing its head into the air, when Ladd attempted to ease the gelding in behind Doyle.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Dovils Date (GB), unplaced, was slowly away.
