An enquiry was held following a concern raised by Lucy Wadham, the trainer of Code Name Lise (IRE), regarding the withdrawal of the mare at the start by the Veterinary Surgeon.
Wadham, the rider Bryony Frost, the Veterinary Officer and Veterinary Surgeon were interviewed and after hearing their evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
