The Tagula gelding came up the hill strongly to score at Galway in September, and the champion jockey was again on board when also scoring over seven furlongs here last month. The selection, who went down narrowly over ten furlongs at Ballinrobe earlier this year, should have little difficulty stepping up to a mile here. The Dancing Lord has proved a credit to connections and just failed to complete a course and distance hat-trick a fortnight ago when denied by Togoville, a first Irish winner for Armagh-based Greek Georgios Pakidis. Rose Angel gained a deserved win when taking an apprentice handicap in emphatic fashion over the mile here last month but has gone up 10lb as a result.
