FormscanBy Tom Weekes - CHAMPAGNE HARMONY might be able to build on his good recent form and win here having proven himself fairly versatile ground-wise. He ran well when fifth in a Grade A chase at Punchestown latest and looks the type to maintain his good progression over fences. Blazer has himself shown a smart level of ability over hurdles in the past and receives weight from most of his rivals, being still a maiden. His best hurdles run was when a close fourth in the 2016 Coral Cup at Cheltenham and while he remains somewhat unexposed, is sure to be primed for his return. It is interesting Ruby Walsh doesn’t take a ride in the race and while Mullins’ Dicosimo, under Paul Townend, has a rating of 134, he remains enigmatic and needs to show more than when disappointing having made the running at Punchestown latest. Velocity Boy was held when exiting in a Grade 1 race at Punchestown latest but should be able to get involved on his best form.
