FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SAMCRO goes in pursuit of winning back some of his GBP335,000 cost-price here and should take all the beating. He won his only point to point last April for trainer Colin Bowe at Monksgrange before selling for a whopping price at auction, five days later. He was pulled out of a bumper at Navan last weekend, officially due to a stone bruise, and will today encounter similarly soft ground to what he won his point to point on. Arctic Light himself won on bumper debut over CD last month and also looks useful. The form of that bumper doesn’t look overly strong yet but he is capable and should give the selection a race. Loupgarou ran well on his second start at Naas recently and is another who looks capable of winning races while Carrigready has also shown ability but might struggle to win this. Natgould is a flat-bred newcomer who makes a somewhat belated debut but could have ability.
