FormscanBy Michael Graham - CLOUNTS MEADOWS makes plenty of appeal. His third place to Adreamstillalive at Gowran Park in January has been well advertised by the latter through victories in Naas and Limerick. In addition, the fifth placed horse, Dylrow, has since scored off a mark of 100 in Naas. Clounts Meadows arrives here in winning form over two miles at Thurles in February and a revised rating of 99 doesn't look especially harsh. Rachael Blackmore's 3lb claim is of course a bonus. This two mile five trip should be within his compass as he is a former point-to-point winner. He sported first-time cheekpieces for Thurles and they are retained today. Glendine River is dangerous. She is a former course and distance winner and has since been running behind good horses such as De Plotting Shed and Airlie Beach. The market should be interesting as she has been off since September. Show And Go, King Blue and One Can Cally were all third on their last appearances and wouldn't need to find much more to be on the premises.
