FormscanBy Michael Graham - BELLGROVE hasn't won since June 2015 but this appears to be a good opportunity for him. He was fourth in Clonmel in a race that has thrown up a couple of subsequent winners (by the horses either side of him in third and fifth). It might be best to put a line through his third in Navan last-time out as that was on heavy going. Most of his runs have been on good ground but he has placed form on yielding. Floral Fantasy won a handicap hurdle round a similar track in Downpatrick and could relish this test. Dawerann hasn't raced over fences since July last year when he pulled up in Tipperary. He has been runner-up in a beginners' chase at this track before and has his chance, although 2/1 at the time of writing doesn't make a lot of appeal. Simiel didn't feature in a couple of novice chases in Gowran and Thurles but can be expected to show more on this better ground. He has each-way prospects.
