FormscanBy Michael Graham - This is quite a drop in class for BELLOW MOME and he should take advantage of it. His last three races have been in Graded company behind the likes of Acapella Bourgeois, Yorkhill and Our Duke. He didn't make any impresssion but before those he enjoyed a smooth success in a Thurles beginners' chase. He weakened out of contention in Navan when Acapella Bourgeois saw them all off from the front. However, that was on soft to heavy ground and today's forecast going of yielding, should suit him well. Flaxen Flare had been off for the guts of two years before finishing third in a hurdle race at Cork last month. He won the Fred Winter four years ago and has been runner-up in a Galway Hurdle. Interestingly, he won a beginners' chase on his penultimate start in Down Royal back in May 2015. He could give Bellow Mome plenty to think about. Montys Meadow has been highly tried in the Thyestes and the Red Mills chase, both in Gowran. He has the same rating as Bellow Mome of 139 and can get involved in the distribution of prize money.
