FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ARCHIE MEADE needs to overcome a pulled up effort on his latest start but that was in the Thyestes Chase and this looks a much lower level. He has thus far disappointed slightly over fences but does have ability and should be involved at the business end. Coole Avenue himself disappointed on his last two starts but prior to, he ran well at Limerick over Christmas, when he finished well ahead of Kashline. He, along with the selection, is top rated as 119 and is further helped by his riders 7lbc claim. He needs to return to his best to win but if he does he should be involved. Kashline stays well and has a chance on his best form. However, he disappointed behind the selection at Christmas and was also well enough beaten in a handicap in January. Dushrembrandt has the size to make a nice chaser but has been very well beaten on his two chase starts. He should do well in time but might be best watched again here. Manner Court's raising of 116 looks to flatter him somewhat. He did win a point-to-point and attained the rating following an encouraging run at Punchestown in December but was very well beaten on his latest start and looks to have something to prove now. Shamiran was also useful over hurdles but has been slightly disappointing on his latest start at Navan. Prior to that he ran well enough at Gowran and on best form he should be involved. Stoney probably needs to improve to win while dual point to point winner Moss Grove was well beaten on his last two starts and faces a tough task.
