Today's trip is slightly further than what he has been running over in recent times but he receives weight from three of these. He clearly isn't anywhere near the horse he once was and while his 123 day absence might be a concern, may have been kept for these type of races. Stablemate Mourad is falling down the ratings and while still rated 7lbs higher than MIKAEL D'HAGUENET, Mourad has appeared a shadow of his former self on his two most recent starts. It is difficult to know which Mourad to expect here but he is certainly a dangerous betting proposition. Horendus Hulabaloo is a staying type and while he isn't helped by giving away 3lbs comes here fit and well. He is also open to progression but on ratings, and his most recent form, he faces a tough task. Off The Charts is the form horse in the race but isn't helped by giving away 8lbs to the bottom few. He is a progressive sort but still needs to maintain a sharp level of improvement to win. Gold Patrol is ridden by a good claimer and is very progressive but gives away plenty weight. The Bishop Looney would have some claims on best form but is without a win in two years.
