Having acquired plenty of chasing experience since his agonising defeat last year, the eight-year-old should go very close. With an official rating of 126, the Willie Mullins-trained Ocean Des Mottes sets the standard. Although pulled up when last seen, his previous form was strong enough for a race of this nature. Wexford runner-up Mickie Angel also has to be respected.
