Formscan - C&D winner Ottoman is one to consider despite unseating Harry Vigors at Haydock last time, but both his previous wins came in lesser company off lower marks and others are preferred. Roger Varian has been among the winners recently and although ZACHARY HICKES may look in the grip of the handicapper, his third at Yarmouth last month is the best recent form on offer and after only six starts, there could be improvement to follow. Percy Jones is equally consistent but may have to settle for third place again.
