A son of Churchill, the four-year-old gelding has run some of his best races at this track. At his best on fast ground, he looks likely to have his optimum conditions on this occasion and, Chris Hayes returns to the saddle. A lightly raced daughter of Masar, Killyclogher Rose made a winning handicap debut at Naas last month. Open to further improvement after just four starts, the Andy Oliver-trained four-year-old shouldn't be far away. Ob La Di, who caught the eye staying on late in the Ladies Derby last time, is another that has to be considered.

When I entered her, I thought 'gees she would have a great chance of winning a race', but when you see the standard of race. It looked a very, very competitive race, but this is a filly we always thought a lot of at the start of the year. She goes through the soft ground well and it was a good performance. I just put the cheekpieces on for this track, it is a sharp track. I put them on her and she probably didn't need them, but around here just put them on her to help her on this track. She is going the right way and I think she is a filly for the future.

It has been (form of last victory well boosted) and she is going the right way. Robbie said she wasn't doing a stroke really in front and every time they were coming to her, she was picking up. She stays well and I think she is improving away. That is her last run for me now, so she will be going to the sales. She's in Tattersalls selling on the Monday. He needs that trip and he needs a good gallop,. We thought we were a good thing coming up with all the rain, and then five minutes outside Sligo it was as dry as a bone!. Soft ground is the key to him and he just about got away with it today. It was too quick for him the last day in Gowran and he never got into the race. He's very tough and he will stay further. I'd say two miles might be his trip in the end. We have him schooled and the plan was to go three-year-old hurdling with him, but when he's still competitive on the Flat we'll stay that way with him. It's a bit easier and I'll try and hold off getting the jumps licence for another bit!

Colin (Keane) told me to put blinkers on her and then he jumped ship (to ride Secret Rock, third). I’d say the blinkers were a help and a good track too. She looks like she stays that trip well and she may even go further the way she won there. She was a very backward two-year-old and she used to hit the ground hard enough then, but as she’s matured her action was better and I’d be happy with her on that ground now.
