Out of a Group-placed mare who has already produced two stakes winners, the selection made the running in a smart Curragh maiden last month and was beaten by fast-finishing Monogram, who subsequently finished runner-up in the National Stakes. Our Boy Bailey disappointed at Galway in July but had previously finished runner-up on his debut and mid-field in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. Ballydoyle’s Bold Commander has shown form but seems quite exposed and is clearly vulnerable to a smart performer. Blimey is out of a Listed-winner.
