Gowran Park Sat, 19th Sep, 2026  Navajo Point He is an improving horse. It's well documented that I said he fractured his pelvis there 18 months ago. We took our time with him,. Paddy said he had a job to pull him up. He probably wants further and he'll be a nice horse next year. More importantly, he's our own so we have a few pound!

You just have to keep niggling away on him. We'll tip away with him on soft ground and he'll tell us when to stop.

Navan Wed, 2nd Sep, 2026  Sonoran on a proper track you ran ride him cold and let him do that, and that’s the right thing for him. If he does too much too soon you can’t ride him like that. When he gets there, he tends to lean a bit left. Both my horses ran their races and (third-placed) Daler’s turn will come as well, as he’s been very consistent this year.

Gowran Park Tue, 1st Sep, 2026  Navajo Point this horse’s mother (Dashing Diamond) was slow, but tough and won a race for us. Navajo Point has got a bit more about him and while he probably wants 1m2f, we said we'd come down and take our chances, although thought there’d be a bit more of a cut in the ground. He fractured his pelvis in Roscommon last year and he was off for ages. He was probably one of the last of our Flat horses to come back in this year, so it’s been patience, patience, patience. Paddy also said that he's still learning.
