The winner, Thomas Equinas (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chelmsford City on 12th October 2024 where the gelding finished ninth of twelve, beaten by 8 lengths.
Dean Ivory’s representative’s explanation that the gelding benefitted from the reapplication of check pieces was noted.
