Geneticist (IRE)

He is a lovely horse who we bought at the Breeze-Ups last year. He had a little setback last year and kept getting a respiratory infection and we just gelded him and threw him out and forgot about him. It is paying dividends now as he is a horse with a bit of scope. He is a forward-going horse and wasn't drilled for the first day and we were over the moon with him when he finished second to what looked a good horse. He seems to have stepped up and improved and that ground wouldn't be for him as he has a lovely action. He looks an exciting sort of horse. We didn't get to buy any Breeze-Up horses at the last sale and this horse will now go as a wild-card to the Newmarket Horses In Training Sale next Friday. We'll turn him into cash and buy a couple of two-year-olds to keep the show on the road.
