Limerick Fri, 25th Apr, 2025  Admiral Churchill I probably ran him over a bit too far (a mile) being a Kodiac the last day and seems to like these tracks. He had a good run in Galway last summer but looked a bit intimidated both days I ran him at the Curragh. Maybe we learned today that this type of track suits him. Charlie Bond is based in Yorkshire and is a big sponsor at all their tracks so I'd imagine we'll look for a handicap or novice for this horse next. There's a suitable three-year-old handicap, if the ground was soft, at the Dante festival in York over seven furlongs so that may be an option.

Curragh Sat, 12th Apr, 2025  No Return We ran him last Sunday in Cork but he didn’t travel well in the lorry, he got very keyed up and sweaty,. We left him in the paddock for the week and I only train a mile from the track here. He put back on the weight that he lost. It’s great to win.

Dundalk Mon, 27th Jan, 2025  Koniag Let's say he was definitely due it. We are probably still learning about him. We were wondering the last day would he stay a mile and a-half and then we said all he does is stay. That was the plan today, Paddy let him roll along and go early enough. He was really enjoying it up in front. He's a progressive horse. He is big, he is 550kgs so he should be only coming to his prime now. He could have a nice future ahead of him. There is a decent pot in Lingfield on Good Friday - it might be overstepping the mark a bit, but you don't know. That is probably his best performance yet. My first winner over a mile and a-half, so we are breaking new ground! Looking a few more stayers, that's where the money is I think!. He would be a gorgeous horse for someone going jumping.
