After race at Kilbeggan Sat, 9th Aug, 2025 (1st)  His Mallow form was probably good enough, I thought he was a bit unlucky there myself,. It was a lovely race for him with the conditions. I’d say a small field suits him, he doesn’t really like a big field. Top weight in Galway was always going to be a big ask. I wasn’t too disappointed with him in Galway, I didn’t really expect too much there to be honest. It was great to get this with him. The plan was to make it a test as there was a question mark about the rest of them staying, he totally out-stayed the second horse. There is a similar race in Down Royal at the end of the month. He’s badly handicapped over fences, we’ll have to have a look at the Flat as well. C Byrnes

After race at Limerick Thu, 23rd May, 2024 (1st)  He had schooled very well, and the distance and the ground were a big thing for him. He is a fine horse and will keep going for the summer. He is better off jumping and likes to have fences in front of him. We'll look to Galway. C Byrnes

After race at Downpatrick Mon, 28th Aug, 2023 (1st)  He loves jumping, jumping is the secret to him. He's a horse that doesn't do a stroke at home. The hurdles just set him alight, he absolutely loves it. Good ground, he wouldn't be one for the winter. Two and a-half plus and he will stay three miles. I'd say that's why Richard Hannon sold him in the first place, he was gone a bit sick of the Flat. Next year, definitely (go on the Flat), but this year I'd like to keep him going over hurdles as he is enjoying it so much. We might have a look at something in England, the October meeting in Cheltenham could be a possibility. We like to travel with the horses. A good day. C Byrnes
