Reports in which Samba Train (IRE) was mentioned
The well-backed favourite Samba Train (5/2 into 7/4 before the off) made all and got the better of a good tussle with market rival Amina to win the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares (Pro/Am) Flat Race at Limerick.

The Sir Francis Brooke owned and bred Samba Train (easy-to-back at 9/4 favourite) impressively landed the Oliver Broderick Pro/Am Fillies INH Flat Race at Listowel for Enda Bolger in the hands of Aine O'Connor.
Sat 31st May
For the second evening in succession, Harry Swan produced a well fancied Gordon Elliott runner from off the pace to land the spoils, as debutant Woodland Adventure won the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF 4-y-o Fillies INH Flat Race at Cork.

Aine was always confident, rode her positively on the inside and that's why she rides for me. She executed it great and the mare kept galloping. . We'll sit back on our laurels now for a while but I can't wait to see her over hurdles. We'll find a mares' maiden hurdle next but she doesn't want the ground too deep being by Blue Bresil. The owner (Sir Francis Brooke) has other duties in Ascot today but will be delighted with this.

She came on a nice bit from Cork, has been training well at home and Aine got the fractions right today,. I'll talk to the owner to see if he wants to stay going for the summer or not but she jumps well and is an exciting animal. Her ears were pricked all the way along today. That's our first winner for Sir Francis Brooke, who lives locally and is the King's representative in Royal Ascot. He was off on his holidays during the week and came all the way to Listowel to see her run, so this is great.
