I was really happy with him. I wasn’t too sure what to expect as he disappointed us a bit in Thurles the last day. He got a bit worked up before the race last time, but was very relaxed here today. We have won most of the big handicaps so this is the race I wanted to win, although it is not a nice way to win. The stewards have their jobs to do, and Jack said he'd get it straightaway after the race. I was talking to Ruby (Walsh) as well and he felt we would definitely get it. The Earls are big supporters of mine, we go back to Day Dot nearly and my first Cheltenham winner Chicago Grey was for Michael(Earls)’s brother so it is great. Noel (Meade) is one of my greatest friends and there isn't a day goes by that we don't talk and we have great banter but that's the way it goes unfortunately. There is a 150,000 dollar Flat race in America for him in October now. It is unbelievable to win the two big races here this week and the horses have all run well. I can't believe it.

We were fortunate winners, obviously, but he's a nice horse. Darragh said he just got a bit tired after he jumped the third last and they just quickened away from him. Delighted for Mike Roden, his first winner, and he is one of the owners of the racecourse. He goes well and point-to-pointing didn't really suit him, although he was unlucky not to win the first day. He was impressive in Cork, we gave him a break and came back here. On work Nelson Muntz (stablemate, third) is better but the winner is a fair horse who also has a lot of boot and isn't slow. He is a promising horse and will interesting going forwards. He is a fine big horse so going over fences will be his thing although we'll keep him to hurdling this season if he isn't sold. We'll see what the handicapper does. Nelson Muntz ran alright but caught further back than he wanted and Sean (Flanagan, jockey) said he was sluggish early on in the race.
