She is a nice filly and this race fitted in well after Galway and conditions suited. She had run over a mile previously at Bellewstown so I thought she'd be ok doing that today. William (Kennedy, owner) bred her and she is the first foal so we'd like to get a bit of black type. She has plenty of options, she is in the Moyglare and Prix Marcel Boussac and races like the Ingabelle Stakes (at Leopardstown) or the Moyglare would be an option next. It depends on how she comes out of this but the aim will be to get black type. P Twomey, trainer

The Stewards wished to interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Strawberry Picker, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. J. A. Heffernan confirmed to the stewards that he had three previous breaches of Regulation 10 since the new whip rules came into effect. Having considered the riders acceptance of his disciplinary record in relation to Regulation 10, The stewards referred the matter to the referrals Committee for consideration under Regulation 10.6.

For two years old only that are EBF eligible and whose sire established one or more yearling sales in the relevant year with a median price of not more than €50000 and that have not won more than one race
