The horse is a little bit of a rogue and is reluctant to go in to the stalls and is then slowly out. He likes that ground and while he ran well here in the past, threw it away at the start. We knew he'd handle the track so we're delighted to get this second win with him. He has lots of ability but looks after himself and we might go over hurdles with him. That is Keithen's first winner for me, and he actually started off riding out for me. He is also from Monasterevin and is from a talented family, as his sister is a multiple world champion at Irish dancing. They're a lovely family as well, which is more important, so I didn't want him walking around Monasterevin saying I hadn't given him a winner! Seamus Fahey, trainer

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Seamus Fahey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sinbad My Dad, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that the first time blinkers help the horse to travel better throughout the race and this may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form

Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (80 = 10st)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
