The second day of the Galway Races on Tuesday is another mixed offering with action on the Flat and over jumps.

The seven-race card runs from 17:05 until 20:20 at Ballybrit and the feature race is the COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap at 18:40, a staple of the Galway Races programme.

Our expert has picked out a day two Galway Lucky15 for consideration.

  • 17:05 - Emily Love

The big stables are well represented here as Willie Mullins saddles Sysko Vicar Street and La Note Vetre while Gordon Elliott goes with Timeless Party and Emily Love.

Any of the quintet could be the answer but Same Ewing's 130-rated partner Emily Love earns the nod.

After twice finishing second in maidens over hurdles at Fairyhouse and Cork in the spring, she has won four on the spin since over trips in and around two-and-a-half miles.

She is progressing nicely and has plenty experience under her belt already, which can stand her in good stead alongside her proven stamina which bodes well coming here.

    5.052m. 110yds. 7 Declared.

    18:40 - Bear Profit

The feature race on day two, the COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap boasts a top prize of €72,000 and, typically, a strong field has been assembled with 14 runners.

David Marnane 's Slieve Binnian is on a roll and not overlooked in haste but Bear Profit could be one that goes close at decent odds for Ger O'Leary.

The Profitable gelding has plenty of experience and scored over 1m1f at Leopardstown in June off a mark of 78.

He has run well in both starts since despite twice operating from career-high marks, initially off 85 when second to Glorious Goodwood-bound Masoun at the Curragh and then off 2lb higher when third back at Leopardstown in a valuable contest earlier this month.

He's 1lb higher still now but Nicola Burns returns in the saddle claiming 7lb and while this trip is shorter than optimal, the stiff nature of the track and the likelihood of a strong pace favour him.

    6.401m. 123yds. 14 Declared.
COLM QUINN BMW Mile H'cap of €120,000.00 3-y-o plus

    19:15 - Raykir

He's no longer the King of Ballybrit but Dermot Weld still knows how to find the target at this meeting and Raykir has a solid claim in the Caulfield Industrial Irish EBF Maiden, with the Rosewell House trainer in the Aga Khan silks.

The Siyouni gelding was third last time out in a mile maiden at Limerick, clear of the remainder and perhaps in a contest where things didn't go entirely to plan for him.

He's got a wider draw than ideal now but has form in the book that makes him a leading contender under Chris Hayes as Weld looks to win this race for a third time in six years.

    7.157f. 14 Declared.
Caulfield Industrial Irish EBF M'dn of €19,000.00 3-y-o plus

    20:20 - Convincing

The Caulfield Industrial Handicap over an extended-mile trip rounds off proceedings and Convincing is one that may have a big say on first start for trainer Ciaran Murphy.

The four-year-old only has five runs behind him. He has handled varying conditions underfoot in being placed at Killarney in maiden company either side of a winter layoff and was perhaps unsuited by the drop to 7f on handicap bow at Down Royal in May.

He's rated 67 here but should be well suited back up in trip and retains the scope for plenty of progress at this early stage in his career.

    8.201m. 123yds. 18 Declared.
    Caulfield Industrial H'cap of €17,000.00 4-y-o plus
