Permission was given for Diligent Henry (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Glendown (IRE), drawn 1, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend, involving Golden Prosperity (IRE), placed second, ridden by Ashley Lewis, and Diligent Henry (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Jack Dace.
Lewis was suspended for 6 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Dace, causing him to clip heels and stumble, and forcing Up The Monk (GB) to be taken off its intended line.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Dancing With Drums (IRE), which had never previously been placed, was considered.

His comments that it was the colt’s handicap debut with a weaker field, as well as a drop in trip and strengthening up after a break, were forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority so they that could be reviewed in conjunction with the previous performances of Dancing With Drums (IRE), and the colt was routine tested.
