Formscan By Shane Redmond - The hat-trick seeking TEOLOGIA (4) should be all the rage in this five-runner affair. She was well on top when successful over the extended 10 furlongs on good ground here at the end of May and was better again when following up over a similar trip here, on soft ground, a month ago. The handicapper has had his say and the three-year-old is in a higher grade now, but she should still be up to the task and this step up in distance could bring out more yet improvement. Beauparc was nicely in front of Stallar Quality when they finished second and third respectively at Gowran Park at the beginning of June but neither landed much of a blow at the next time of asking and both wear cheekpieces for the first time now.

She did things really nicely this evening. They jumped off and went a nice even gallop which suited her. I was a little bit concerned around the top bend as she wasn't just quite handling the track, but Shane said as soon as he got her out and he straightened up, she picked up really well. She ran on great, so I'd say this will probably be her minimum so there will be no harm in stepping up to a mile and six (furlongs).

When she’s right, she’s a nice filly. The last (day) she ran disappointingly. I thought she might be in season, but we found nothing wrong. Maybe the track in Sligo just didn’t suit her and they maybe just over watered the ground. She’s done her job today anyway, that’s three she’s won now. She’ll probably be rated in the 80s now. The lads would like to go to Galway so that’ll probably be the next stop. She probably won’t run before that and she seems to run better fresh. She might take her chance in the mile and a-half premier handicap there.

The pedigree suggested the step up in trip. We took our time with her. The last time in Ballinrobe we just have to draw a line through that race - nothing worked out for her and she didn't handle the track. She obviously likes a good galloping track, so we thought we would take the chance and try to step her up now. She is going to be a staying mare and she is going to improve again from three to four. The pedigree suggests she stays. She was a big filly all along and we had to take our time with her. We think she is going to be a nice filly. The idea is, if we don't sell her, to keep her in training. Hopefully, that will open up a window for the jumping. We were considering to go to Newmarket Sales or the mares' sales in November with her. We will see how that goes, if there is any interest.
