Curragh Sat, 31st Aug, 2024  Ides Of March He was professional and grew up a lot from the last day,. I'm delighted and we'll look at the Middle Park with him now. He's a powerful, fast horse and he finds it easy to go quick. He's big and he's strong. He was going very easy through the race before Ryan started to let him go. I think he's versatile (ground-wise). Wootton Bassetts handle soft ground as well and he handles fast ground very easy, he's a very good mover. The mare was a very good mare in America (Grade 1 winner).

Leopardstown Thu, 22nd Aug, 2024  Chantez That was nice. I loved her first run here as they quickened twice and I said that was a bit above the ordinary as a maiden. I was tempted to go to the Curragh the last day but Red Letter's form was there so we bypassed that and came back here, to the track she had handled, with a view to the Ingabelle Stakes. That is a race that has been very lucky for us. She did exactly what we thought she'd do. She shouldn't be running as she's so light and immature. She's just so not there yet. It's like Dublin buses. We had a load of horses last year and now, all of a sudden, every filly I have is a nice filly. We're just lucky and it's great. She's good and any other year she'd be your best one. I love having a second bite at a maiden. You get disappointed not winning for a minute but then you walk away and say 'lovely, another maiden, and I don't have to go to a stakes race'. Now she's had two runs and I have an Ingabelle horse, so happy days.

Galway Mon, 29th Jul, 2024  Rock Of Cashel He was just very babyish the first day and in fairness he's come forward from it. He's still quite babyish but he's going to be a lovely horse in time, he's still putting it all together. We might look at something like the Futurity for him, some of those nice races. Wayne was very happy with him and he thought he'd come forward nicely from the last day. There is still plenty more to come. We'll step him up into group company and see where he fits in with the rest of them.

He's a very laid back horse, a big horse, and he's probably a little bit on the weak side still. We'll give him a bit of time and we probably won't be going anywhere in a hurry. There are plenty of mile races in the autumn. He's got some entries. We'll see how he comes out of this and go from there. Whatever he does now he's going to get better.

Curragh Sun, 30th Jun, 2024  Henri Matisse We're delighted with him. We thought he was a bit too babyish to go to Ascot and Wayne said he's still babyish. He said he'll love going up to seven and we might go up to seven next, we'll see what's there for the Phoenix Stakes. He's a lovely horse, tries very hard and is very genuine. He has an unbelievable pedigree.

Limerick Thu, 30th May, 2024  Seasett His owner Mark Sheasby got a touch out of this horse when he won for Paddy at Cartmel and I told him that he wouldn't be out of the first two today. I thought Paddy was very good as he hadn't much room but was very strong on him. He rode a very clever race and for a young lad, he's not too bad. You can't beat the 'flapping' (pony racing) as it absolutely crowned him as he learned so much. Paddy has six rides for me at Listowel on Saturday and, as he knows all the horses from being at home, I'll get him experience on mine instead of letting him ride for every Tom, Dick or Harry. I have plenty of horses for him.

Curragh Sat, 25th May, 2024  Henri Matisse He's a lovely-bred horse, I think Joseph (O'Brien, Cadogan) liked his horse as well. He'll improve a lot. He was babyish at home, mentally. Ryan nursed him as much as he could and gave him a lovely ride. He'll be very happy if he wants to step up to seven too, he's a lovely horse I'd say.
