Formscan By Shane Redmond - BYE BYE NOW (1) was a winner over this distance at Dundalk back in March and has run well on both starts since. At Bellewstown two weeks ago, on her first start since the beginning of April, she gave it a good go from the front but was ultimately no match for co-favourite Happy Henry. She looks to hold this evening's rivals Dandy Land, Viamonte and Whatswrongnow on that run. Spirit Of Eagles won this race in 2023, was fifth in it the following year, and runner-up 12 months ago. Her recent form reads well and she clearly has a chance again along with Shamanka who was only a neck behind her when they finished third and fourth respectively here a month ago.

She’s just been an unlucky filly really. She’s a drop in sprinter and she always seems to find trouble,. Everything went well today and the splits came when they should have. We were going to run her in the handicap but I didn’t want her finding trouble on the way round so when there were a handful of runners in this we said we’d have a crack at it. She should have won twice last season, she’s been unlucky all the way through, so it’s nice to get head in front. If she’s not claimed she could come back up here, there are races here for her every week for the next three weeks.
