Formscan By Tom Weekes - PUPPET MASTER was previously smart for Aidan O’Brien and has been running well both over hurdles and on the Flat recently. Winner of the Lingfield Derby Trial in May 2025, the selection failed to build on that, prior to being sent hurdling for new connections. He has mixed Flat and jumping and, having defeated a subsequent winner to score at Kilbeggan in August, just last Tuesday he finished third in the Amateur Riders Derby. He has form on soft ground. Friary Road has been racing on the Flat recently and while he has useful bits of hurdles form, has plenty weight. Combs was well held at Listowel but had previously won at Kilbeggan.

He has a future over flights and he has a future on the Flat as well too. I probably will (mix and match). .
