Formscan - A winner over fences at Hexham in June before following up over the same C&D in September, HAPY LA VIE was able to exploit a lower mark to strike over hurdles at Ayr last month. The progressive seven-year-old is 8lb higher returned to the larger obstacles, but he is unlikely to have reached the ceiling of his ability just yet and is taken to go in again. Return Fire has less to prove than the remainder having been on target at Hexham three weeks ago and is considered the main threat. Dr Shirocco completes the shortlist.
