Formscan - KILBAKANTO appeared stretched by the extended 3m at Haydock earlier this month and he shaped better than his fourth-placed effort suggests. Reverting to 2m4f should see the son of Malinas in a better light and this looks a suitable opportunity for him to open his account under Rules. Although Tony Joe was unable to complete a double in a Catterick bumper last month, he rates as the biggest danger on his hurdles bow, ahead of Jonquilla.
