Formscan - NEW GROUND (7) was a decent third on his penultimate start in the Grand Prix De Deauville (Group 2) on August 30th over 2500m. He is a classy gelding who was fourth in the Epsom Derby (Group 1) in June and should be too smart for his rivals. His main threat could be CASAPUEBLO (5), who was a credible fourth in a Listed race at Lyon Parilly in early November on his last run. HYPERCORE (4) ran well to be second in a Class 2 race on the PSF in February and will not lack fitness. BELIEVER (3) looks best of the remainder.
