This Teofilo filly took a nice step forward when second on her second outing at Gowran last month and there could be a bit more to come.

Kimy had the cheekpieces on today but I don't know whether they made the difference as she was coming along well. She had a lot of weight in Ballinrobe the last day and that was a good run. She never scopes clean, that's her problem but had nicer ground today and I knew she was getting better. She only needed to improve a little bit to win this race. Everything went sweet for Danny, there was no problems. She'll go to the Lartigue at Listowel but will be out of the handicap if Nurburgring (Galway Hurdle winner) runs. We'll stick her in it anyway and she where she is.

I really fancied her coming today and thought she would appreciate stepping up to a mile-and-a-half,. She’s not easy on herself, she’s a hardy one. Will Hayes, in all fairness, does a good job with her in the stalls. She wears a blanket. She’s excitable and full of energy. Ben says a mile-and-a-half is no problem but we might drop her back to ten the next time. They went slow and she jumped well and was keen. He didn’t want to be there.
