she's a smashing mare and that's a bumper, four hurdles and a chase win now. She's really come into her own this year and is a lot stronger. She's very relaxed and that's such an advantage over three miles. There is a great mares novice chase program and we'll try and take advantage of that. Paul was very good on her and got her round in one piece. He said she made a little mistake early on and it took a while to get her confidence but you don't mind that on their first run. J.W. Kennedy, rider of Dallas Cowboy trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly and stopped quickly. J.J. Burke, rider of Sizing Alberta (FR) trained by C.A.Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly and pulled up. The Stewards interviewed Niall Madden, trainer of Snake Eyes, in relation to the saddling of his charge in this race where it was observed in the parade ring that the horse was wearing the incorrect number-cloth. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who accepted responsibility for the oversight and apologised for the confusion. Having considered all the evidence, the Stewards found the trainer in breach of Rule 199 and cautioned him regarding his future responsibilities in this regard.
