Law Supreme (FR) appeared to have bitten its tongue on the way to post.
Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving the winner, Mr Nugget (GB), ridden by Sean Levey, Magic Runner (GER), placed third, ridden by James Sullivan and El Ghaawy (GB), unplaced, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
Levey was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed Mr Nugget (GB) to drift left-handed without sufficient correction, moving Magic Runner (GER) off its intended line causing Loughnane to take a slight check aboard the weakening El Ghaawy (GB).
On the run to the line, Apache Green (GB), placed fifth, edged slightly left-handed away from the whip, lightly brushing Law Supreme (FR), placed fourth, causing that runner to become unbalanced as a result.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
