Permission was given for APLINE STROLL to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held into the start of this race and the participation of Red Force One (GB), drawn 7, ridden by Joe Fanning.
The rider and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
The Stewards considered that the gelding should be declared a non-runner as it was deemed to have been prevented from starting on terms due to a malfunction of the starting stalls.
An enquiry was held to establish the circumstances surrounding the malfunction of the starting stalls in this race, which led to AIR FORCE ONE being declared a non-runner.
The Starters and the Stalls Team Leader were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
Having heard their evidence, the Stewards ordered a report to be forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
