Gowran Park Wed, 12th Aug, 2026  Minaun View She loves these claimers. In her grade, she's able to hold her own in them. She gets the weight off the horses that are in not to be claimed, so that's a big help. She's there to be claimed. The lads are from the North. We'll probably try and claim her back, anyhow, and we'll see what happens. She's as solid as anything. We ran her in Galway but she was a bit out of her comfort zone, drawn wide. In Galway, when you are drawn wide and you have to go hard, it doesn't really suit.

Naas Mon, 3rd Aug, 2026  Livenka I’ve always liked her. It’s a nice pot to win with her en route to where we hope to be going with her, which is black-type,. said Lyons. I put her in the Lowther this morning at second entries. If she’s alive and kicking, that’s a lovely option. As with all the Juddmonte fillies, it’s all about black-type, but this is a nice pot to win en route to that. We’ve been lucky in the race and I’m never too proud to take Joe Foley’s money!. You don’t know what she’s beaten, obviously, but you do know what she beat in Fairyhouse, that’s the plus because she (Star Of State) demolished the Leopardstown horses. Regardless of what she beat, she’s a filly that I like. I made a mistake going seven; this is where she needs to be — at this trip. We’ll concentrate on this trip for the rest of the year, and she’s a top-of-the-ground horse, which is typical of Bated Breath.

Killarney Wed, 15th Jul, 2026  Meriden We always knew she was okay but she’s improved with every run. It’s worked out lovely, she’s just stepped up every time. She’s done a lot very quick, it’s massive what she’s done in six or seven weeks. You’d have to look at a Group 3 with her next. She’s beat a good filly there. Chris knows her well and he had said to me that she mightn’t like this place as she can lean left. She’s entered at Ascot next weekend on his recommendation but it might come a bit soon. I just love her attitude; I was riding her out all week thinking that she had sharpened up from the Curragh. I haven’t been dipping her, because she’s running so much you can’t empty her at home. To me just cantering it felt like she had improved. He whole attitude is just so good. It’s the hottest day of the year and there is not an ounce of sweat out of her. She saddled really professional. She just does everything well and had a real good mind. She is exciting to have. She’s a class filly. I have to thank Paul O’Brien and Paul Shanahan for giving her to me.

They came at her down the corner, and again up the straight, and she still toughed it out. She’s genuine. If she gets her confidence up, we might throw her back in a handicap, if we still have her. She’s in at a claimable price so someone might go and snatch her. She has a great attitude and Patch was very good on her as we were drawn wide. He got her out, kicked on in front and dictated the whole way. They went good and quick and stayed at it.

Fairyhouse Wed, 8th Jul, 2026  Livenka I ran her over the wrong trip the last day and she was just a bit gassy. I left her a bit fresh. I had no problem running her back quickly over this trip. Obviously, we’ll discuss it with everybody, but she holds an entry in the Ballyhane Stakes (Naas) and that would be her first option as there is good prize-money there. Then obviously black-type would be very important, we think she’s a stakes filly, but we’ll let her go there. She’s muscling out and she’s growing on me. She’s going to be a fine model at three. Until she tells us otherwise, I’d be surprised if we stretched her any further than six (furlongs) at the moment.

Bellewstown Fri, 3rd Jul, 2026  Minaun View the three horses had good chances although I wasn't expecting that, so it was grand and it is great to get a winner down here. Minaun View had a lovely run, he (jockey Patrick McGettigan) was drawn wide but he got to the front so was able to settle it down on him. Fair play to him. She travelled well and she had only ran on Wednesday. She's solid but it is the first time she has won and we had to drop her back to this class to win. She had been running well in handicaps but was just not getting there. She wanted a little ease in the ground. If she is not claimed, we will roll away with her.

Curragh Sat, 27th Jun, 2026  Suspicious Mindz he is a lovely horse and we’ve always thought an awful lot of him, but he's just been a bit of a monkey. We were so disappointed after his last run, so it was Jamie McCalmont's idea to see if a girl’s touch might help. We said it to Shane (Foley, stable jockey) so he suggested to get Jessica to ride.

Fairyhouse Fri, 5th Jun, 2026  Ocean's Breath I hoping that the step up in trip would suit him. We had to draw a line through what happened at Naas, he was left on his own. He’s such an honest horse. I said around a bend here we’d try him over seven. I declared him for Sunday, over six (at Navan), just in case I was wrong. Gary said doing that he’d nearly get a mile, the way he ran on. He’s only a baby, and still a colt, so there is plenty of improvement. He has a great temperament and, as I said last night, I love that sire, he has been good to us.

Curragh Wed, 3rd Jun, 2026  Meriden That was brilliant, you are always taking a chance when you go back quick. She was so well on Monday morning I said to Patrick (O’Brien) that we had to run her, that she’d love the Curragh and she’d probably sharpen up for the run again. She looks an improver. She was well bought by Patrick, he picked her out himself at the July Sale last year. She has a lovely pedigree, so will do two jobs. We got held up a little bit with her at the start and had to wait to January to start training her. She ran a lovely race first time here in a maiden and she’s just found her feet now. She’s obviously come up through the handicap well. There is a lovely race for her here on Derby weekend, a fillies’ only seven-furlong handicap. It looks made for her so I’d say that will be her next stop.

Cork Tue, 19th May, 2026  Allsortz To be fair to him, he has grown up and become a man this year. He is getting better and better with every run and is really finding in his races now, and is doing things right. . He is a progressive sprinter, there is more to come as he is only a three-year-old and his half-brother (stablemate Sirocco Sands, finished second) didn't do too bad in the first race. It's funny, I actually think that Allsortz could make a lovely dirt horse as he pings the gates, he finds in his races and also has dirt racing in his pedigree.

Dundalk Fri, 10th Apr, 2026  Allsortz Nothing more than he deserved. To be fair, he is very tough and very genuine. It was a good, tough, front-running performance. Again, Luke was very good on him. He is good and strong, but he actually held him together for a long way and only went on on him in the last sort of half furlong. He could end up in the July Sale, there's a chance he could go there so we'll see. He's a lovely horse and very straightforward with a good attitude and he will be good fun.
