Following the race, Dale Swift reported that Chuzzlewit (GB), placed fifth, was denied a clear run approximately 1 ½ furlongs out, as the gelding was caught on heels up against the running rail and the rider felt it prudent to ease his mount out from behind runners, as he was in danger of clipping heels.
Joanna Mason reported that Beauty Choice (GB), placed fourth, was denied a clear run approximately 1 ½ furlongs out.
