Leaving the stalls, El Fox (GB), placed fourth, hung sharply right-handed causing the rider of Liberty Bird (GB), placed third, to take a precautionary check.

After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Rounding the home bend, El Fox (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed initially moving Gretna Dreams (IRE), unplaced, off its intended line, before Gretna Dreams (IRE) then independently hung further right-handed carrying Magic Runner (GER), placed fifth, wider off its intended line.

After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of El Fox (GB).

An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out involving, Romantic Spirit (FR), placed second, ridden by Cieren Fallon; El Fox (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Morris; Gretna Dreams (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Pat Cosgrave and Magic Runner (GER), placed fifth, ridden by James Sullivan.

Connor Planas, the rider of the winner, Flaine (IRE), was interviewed but found not to be involved in the incident.

Fallon was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to hang right-handed without sufficient correction, moving El Fox (GB) off its intended line which in turn briefly hampered Gretna Dreams (IRE) which was also moved off its intended line resulting in Magic Runner (GER) being slightly inconvenienced.

The winner, Flaine (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Southwell on 17 June 2025, where the filly finished ninth of the nine runners, beaten 73¼ lengths.

The representative of David Loughnane could provide no explanation for the performance of the filly.

Flaine (IRE) was routine tested.

Following the race, Cieren Fallon reported that Romantic Spirit (FR), placed second, hung right- handed and Hollie Doyle reported that Lady Of The Isles (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed.
