Permission was given for Notre Maison (GB) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post, wearing a red hood.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving the winner, Colors Of Freedom (GB), ridden by David Egan and Bernard Spierpoint (GB), unplaced, ridden by Frederick Larson.
Egan was cautioned for careless riding as he edged left-handed when insufficiently clear of Bernard Spierpoint (GB), causing Larson to take a slight check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 1 furlong marker, involving Henery Hawk (GB), placed second, ridden by Charlie Bennett, Notre Maison (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Luke Morris and Bernard Spierpoint (GB), unplaced, ridden by Frederick Larson.
The interference was found to be accidental as at the same time as Bennett moved slightly right for clear running around Notre Maison (GB), Notre Maison (GB), moved slightly right-handed, shifting Bennett further off his line than he had intended, resulting in Larson having to take a slight check.
