Permission was given for Dynamite Katie (IRE) to go early to post, wear a red hood and be mounted in the chute.
Permission was also given for Savannah Smiles (IRE) to go early to post and wear a red hood.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 2 furlongs out ,when the winner, Level Up (IRE), ridden by Jordan Williams interfered with Dynamite Katie (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Tyler Heard.
Williams was cautioned for careless riding as he edged right-handed when insufficiently clear of Heard causing him to stop riding momentarily.
Approximately ½ furlong out, the winner, Level Up (IRE), ducked sharply left-handed away from the whip, causing the gelding to become awkwardly placed on the heels of My Genghis (GB), placed second, and forcing the rider to switch left-handed for clear running through to the line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Joey Haynes reported that MOE’S LEGACY, placed fourth, never travelled; Jack Doughty reported that My Genghis (GB), placed second, hung both ways and Nicola Currie reported that Captain Bentley (GB), unplaced, never travelled.
