The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Midweek Voices, trained by Eoin Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Coming Up Easy, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainers representative reported the drop in grade coupled with the sounder surface helped bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.
An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 5th May 2024, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons (120 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each steeplechase won.
