Dorgan, and The Besty Woman, ridden by Ms P.R. Briselden where it appeared interference may have occurred

Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Ms G.M. Dorgan stated that she received a slight bump. Ms P.R

Briselden stated that she thought she was clear of Streamhill. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Ms P.R. Briselden was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly, and having considered her clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss J. Townend, rider of Emerald Enigma, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss J. Townend was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her clean record in this regard, they suspended her for two racedays

An I.N.H. flat race for four years old and upwards mares only that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles)
Weights - 4-y-o 11st 1lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 11lbs.
Riders - Ladies who are Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Ladies who are Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 15th March) may also ride in this race. (The winning owner of this race will receive a €5000 bonus (€7500 bonus if Irish bred and has not previously won a bonus payment in an Academy Hurdle) should the winning filly be eligible for the Weatherbys Ireland/I.T.B.A. N.H. Fillies Bonus Scheme and has not previously won a bonus payment in an Academy Hurdle)
