Permission was given for Star Noir (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Approaching one furlong out, Watchdog (GB), unplaced, shifted quickly left-handed, causing I’M DAN DARE, unplaced, to be momentarily tight for room against the rail and having to ease, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final half-furlong involving Regal Dream (GB), placed third, ridden by Tom Eaves, and Hey Havana (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Faye McManoman.
Eaves was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed, causing McManoman to be taken slightly off her intended line.
Following the race, David Allen reported that Hares Bredth (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed.
