Approaching the final furlong, Ten Club (IRE), unplaced, edged quickly left-handed before being corrected, giving a slight bump to Naval Ensign (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Cieren Fallon reported that Naval Ensign (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run early in the straight and inside the final ½ furlong.
