An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference in the final half furlong, when the winner Iris Dancer (GB), ridden by Andrew Mullen, interfered with Havana Rum (IRE), placed second, ridden by Oisin Orr.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Iris Dancer (GB) as the Havana Rum (IRE) was only moved slightly off its intended line and lost minimal momentum, with the official distance between the runners at the line of a head.
The interference was found to be accidental as IRISH DANCER had lugged left-handed for one hit, causing Havana Rum (IRE) to be intimidated slightly off its intended line.
The Stewards therefore ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
