Permission was given for How Lovely (IRE), Pelean (GB) and ROSEMARY’S ROSE (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and MAHRA’S LOVE (IRE) wore ear plugs which were removed at the start.
The winner, Pelean (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Great Yarmouth on 1 May 2025, where the filly finished fifth of six runners, beaten 11 ¾ lengths.
John and Thady Gosden’s representative’s explanation that Pelean (GB) benefitted from a drop back in trip from 7 furlongs on its previous start was noted.
Pelean (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that LEO’S CHOICE, unplaced, jumped the path shortly after the start.

THE NORWICH INNS GROUP "CONFINED" HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) (For horses which have not won since 2024 Flat Turf Season) Permission was given for BEACH POINT (IRE) and CHELSEA OLD CHURCH to go to post early wearing a red hood.
The performance of RULING MASTER (IRE) which finished seventh of eight runners, beaten 13 lengths, was considered.
It was noted that Marco Botti’s representative could offer no explanation for the gelding’s poor performance.
The Veterinary Officer examined RULING MASTER (IRE) post-race and had nothing to report.
