Formscan By Tom Weekes - CHOSEN SHANT (6) is a veteran mare but nonetheless is an obvious pick, having won over course-and-distance last month. Although it took her a long time to initially score, she won twice over hurdles at today’s course last summer and gained her third course success when beating today’s rival L’Admiral Fromentin in June. A fifth-placing at Listed-level behind Spindleberry last November, also reads well. Keep On Dreaming is a dual point-to-point winner on soft-ground and while he has frustrated on his racecourse outings, should compete in this winnable mid-summer event, having been dropped 3lb. Top weight Farrokh should compete while Justicialism has been running well.
