Leaving the stalls, Liv My Life (IRE), unplaced, jumped sharply left-handed slightly hampering Caramay (GB), placed third, which in turn gave a bump to Loving Look (GB), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving Cancelled (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Cieren Fallon, Liv My Life (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Marco Ghiani, and Aiming High (GB), unplaced, ridden by Luke Morris.
The interference was found to be accidental in that prior to the incident occurring, the gap that Aiming High (GB) was attempting to improve into had tightened and thereafter there was minimal movement from both Cancelled (IRE) and Liv My Life (IRE) towards the rail, resulting in an already tight gap closing to the degree that Morris had to stop riding Aiming High (GB) in the final strides.
