FormscanBy Mark Nunan - It’s the first time in a couple of years that LOVE has raced outside of Group One company and she sets a high standard. A wide margin winner of three races at the highest level last season including the Guineas and Oaks, she made a winning reappearance over this trip at Royal Ascot before respectable efforts in defeat in the King George and Juddmonte International. Although she hasn’t been at her sparkling best yet this term, Aidan O’Brien’s filly is still likely to take a lot of beating. Thundering Nights had Cayenne Pepper and Insinuendo behind when winning over course and distance in June and confirmed form with those rivals when third in France last time. Like the selection, she has a 3lb penalty as a Group One winner but is unlikely to be far away. La Petite Coco was impressive over 1m4f in a Group 3 at Cork and is going the right way but this is a stiffer task and she’ll need to improve again back down in trip.
